This course has been designed to communicate the key elements about health and safety in the workplace. It is an introduction to the key aspects of workplace health and safety and serves as a useful first step for new employees.

This course is for all employees, especially those who are new to the organisation.

By the end of the course you will be able to:

• Explain the reasons for health & safety and the benefits of following good practice
• Understand your legal responsibilities and those of your employer in relation to health and safety
• Work safely, be able to spot risks and report problems.

You must pass the assessment at the end of the course to receive your certificate.
