We all work with a range of colleagues, customers, clients, stakeholders etc., each with unique needs, perspectives, and expectations. As such, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) are not just ideals to aspire to, they are essential elements that can drive innovation, enhance decision-making, and improve organisational performance.
In this eLearning course, we’ll explore the vital role of DEI in fostering innovation, enhancing decision-making, and building trust.
By the end of the course you will:
- Define the concepts of diversity, equity, and inclusion and explain their importance.
- Recognise common types of bias and stereotypes in the workplace and their impact on decision-making and interactions.
- Describe the benefits of diversity, equity, and inclusion for organisational innovation, decision-making, and customer and client relations.
- Recognise inclusive behaviours in daily work to foster a supportive and equitable workplace environment.
At the end of the course is an assessment containing 5 questions. You must answer 4 questions correctly to pass. If you fail to answer 4 or more questions correctly, you will be given the opportunity to try again. Upon successful completion of the assessment, you will be able to access your certificate.
You do not need to complete the course in full in one sitting. If you exit part way through, you will be able to return to the same point when you next log in.
We all learn at different speeds and you should allow approximately 30 minutes to complete the course. You must pass the assessment at the end of the course to receive your certificate.
