  • Misbehaviour in coach or mini bus used for transportation.
  • Inappropriate Leadership
  • Hazards specific to Castles e.g. spiral staircases, uneven steps, low doorways, opportunities to climb etc. leading to slips, trips and falls.
  • Car Park and Road Traffic Issues.
  • Individual getting lost.
  • Confrontation with member of public (stranger)
  • Exposure to weather conditions such as:  Sun UV, heat, exposure to cold and / or wet conditions.
  • Learner / s lost or separated from group due to inadequate supervision.
  • Persons becoming ill or injured.
  • Inadequate procedures leading to delayed help/support and deterioration of condition.
  • Indirect/remote supervision on historic sites, etc.
